The Secret Hidden Waterfall Adventure

We want to take you on a fun adventure to a secret, hidden waterfall. Secret, because very few travel/hiking books write about it.  Not sure if it even shows up on hiking maps.  Hidden, because, well, it is VERY WELL hidden.  It's so hidden, that if you don't specifically look for it, I almost guarantee you would NEVER find it! But we did, and we want to take you there with us!

The waterfall is called Morse's Gulch Waterfall and is located at the end of just 1 mile hike.  But don't be fooled, the hike is more of a fun obstacle course, so you need to be somewhat agile to duck under low branches, climb over fallen trees and hop over a creek.  Loaded with stinging nettles and horsetails (wildcrafted herb paradise, btw!), the path is not tended to and very overgrown and sometimes it's a challenge finding the way.  Which totally adds to the adventurous spirit you already have!  The waterfall itself is a nice 50-feet plunge with rarely any visitors.

Join us and watch our efforts to find this amazing place, as we trek, climb and crawl through the bounties of nature:

AND HERE IS HOW TO FIND IT!

The Morse's Gulch Waterfall and Trail are right off California's Highway 1.  There are no signs whatsoever, so you need to pay a special attention, otherwise you will miss the entrance.
Located near the Stinson Beach, count exactly 2.6 miles from the junction of Highway 1 and Panoramic Highway heading north.  At the 2.6 miles mark you will see a very small nook to your right, just big enough to park one car in it.  There is a little call box right next to it, so that might be helpful to look out for.  As you park your car, facing towards the woods your trail entrance will be to your left.  It may be very overgrown so expect to duck under the branches.

Happy Travels!
